De 7 Provinciën is located along the IJ water in the Overhoeks area with the A'DAM Tower and the famous EYE Film Museum at 200 metres distance. The Overhoeks area is still being developed; Overhoeksparklaan was the first street to be built upon in 2010. From the front door, it takes a 6 minutes’ walk to the ferry at Buiksloterweg. This ferry brings you to the Central Railway Station in 3 minutes and it runs 24 hours a day. From the station Schiphol is some fifteen minutes by train.
